A community residential colony named Kahan Nagar was also built in the vicinity of Mangalayatan to benefit people who want to settle or stay in this holy place. The colony would have limited number of houses/flats providing all the facilities for a comfortable and peaceful stay. Flats would also be built for Jain scholars who want to settle in this area or for their temporarily stay. The project is being developed on a No-profit-no-loss basis.
Shri Adinath Kund-Kund Kahan Digamber Jain Trust is also planning to launch a Jain Cooperative Bank for the benefit of the community. Establishment of private banks is now allowed in the country but no one has taken initiative to launch a Jain Banks in this part of the country. According to the initial planning, the bank would have 18 directors and at least 2000 members.
Apart from the banking operations, the proposed bank might also provide loans for construction of houses and flats in the proposed Jain colony around Mangalayatan. It would also provide education loans to Jain students for further education, in India as well as in abroad. If everything goes according to the plans, the operation of the bank should start by the time of the completion of the second phase of development work of the Mangalayatan complex.
